Safety Personnel Training Course
Course Overview
The objective of this training program is to equip professionals with the following:
• An appreciation of the impact of hazards in a working environment
• An understanding, recognition, and control of physical, mechanical, ergonomic, biological, psychosocial hazards in the workplace
• Knowledge and skills needed to collect, organize and analyse information and patterns that contribute to risks in the working environment
• The skills to evaluate current work practices and machinery and find ways to control or reduce hazards found
• The ability to control, manage, assign responsibilities, and dispense aid in emergencies
• Complete awareness of safety rights and responsibilities in the workplace and the application of ethical practices in dispensing their duties
• The insight to design and organize safety training, and strategic plans to reduce hazards
• The confidence to prioritize and effect safety programs and processes to improve safety
• The application of effective communication skills to inform and liaise with stakeholders including, supervisors, coaches, and regulatory bodies
